Designer-decorator: professional

Interior Design

Unlike a designer, a Decorator decorates almost always a ready-made living space, without resorting to radical means (construction work, remodeling). His arsenal includes only means of decoration: textiles, light, paints, textured materials, art objects and pieces of furniture.

The work of the Decorator is already after the interior designer! Decorator works with a ready-made room, into which you need to bring elements of life. The designer determines the general style of the room, selects materials, thinks about ergonomics and develops a design project, and the decorator works on the “decoration” of the interior: chooses furniture, accessories, textile decorations (for example, stained glass, lamps, wall paintings). The designer is needed from the very beginning of the interior design project, and the decorator at the stage of project completion.
