It’s that time again!! It’s the first day of Friday’s Furniture Fix linkup party. From 9am CST this morning until Sunday 11pm CST, bloggers will be linking up their makeovers. But, please remember, just because the link closes on Sunday, the viewing of these treasures is possible 24/7 forever and ever.
This week’s features collage is the Whitman’s Sampler of furniture makeovers. If you look closely, there’s one of everything.
Lucy’s favorite was this pair of night stands from The Painted Poppy Art Studio. The name of the post is “What Was One Now Is Two.” To find out the surprising way in which they were made, please click on the blogger’s link.
Melanie’s favorite was this Kent Coffey dresser refinished by Robin from RPK Interiors. The finish is a custom color and is unbelievably silky smooth. It looks as good as, or better than, a factory finish. For a special treat, please visit Robin to read about her process.
Nancy’s favorite was this lovely hutch refinished by Ann from Farmhouse Blues. The care that was given to the piece from beginning to end is so evident. No detail was overlooked. To read about this makeover, please click Ann’s link.
My favorite was this emerald-green chest by Ashley from Vintage Refined. Refinishing a piece in a solid color with a high polish can be difficult, but Ashley makes it look easy. And, don’t you think the hardware is also perfect?
And, finally, the entry garnering the most clicks was this fabulous blue chair by Eilis from My Heart Lives Here. She refinished the paint and upholstered the piece herself. How amazing is that? For more details, please click the blog link to visit the talented Eilis.
And now, it’s time to say hello to our hosts.
