Hello Friends,

Today is a special day!

One, my son is graduating college this week-end and will be moving back to Atlanta to begin the next chapter.  Yay, Garrett!  We are so proud of you!

And two, this is the 50th post for The Fix.  Oh my, 50 surely rolled around quickly.  Thank you so much for joining us every week for all the best in furniture.  And to celebrate, of course, this week features another exciting line-up.

But first…..

This week, Anika from Little Free Monkeys explains how to make this console from beginning to end.  There is even a video that explains how to cut the mirror tiles.  Thanks for sharing, Anika!

Jes from My DIY Envy used Old-Fashioned Milk Paint to refresh this end table.  She gets great coverage and the piece is perfectly distressed.  Find out how easily this look can be copied by clicking through to her blog.  Thanks for sharing, Jes!

Paula from Sweet Pea puts the wow in wowzers by repurposing an old sewing cabinet to an outdoor snack buffet.  Isn’t the color just summertime yummy?  Thanks so much for sharing with us, Paula.

And last is sweet Kristine from The Painted Hive, who shares a great tutorial about how to use a sprayer and your favorite paint.  These chairs were truly a hot mess before Kristine made them cool blue.  Thanks for sharing, Kristine.
