Furniture makeovers are like art. The paints, colors, techniques, and visions provide different outcomes for each individual. This includes us, you and me. Even if we plan to copy one of the fabulous pieces, it is possible that it won’t look just like the original. And, that’s ok. In fact, that’s how it should be.
We should have fun with these makeovers and allow ourselves the freedom to give it a go with our own flair.
But, just for fun…..and inspiration….. let’s see what some of the pros are doing.
One of the most popular makeovers ever is this waterfall chest-turned-VW bus. VW bus link.
If a VW bus isn’t your thing, how about a chest that looks like a camera? Chest camera link
Another super-fun option is this rock ‘n roll dresser. How fun!! And, of course, there’s even more….. over on the blog.

This sweet woodland chest, made for a little boy’s room, is super easy. The animals are simply stuck to the wood, painted over, and then peeled away. Woodland dresser link
